…I want to ride my bike!
Don’t worry, I’m not about to murder a classic Queen tune through the medium of karaoke, I’m not that drunk. I thought I would share some shots of my “new” bike though.
I always wanted a cool lowrider/cruiser bike while I was growing up but was never able to get one until a couple of summers ago when I saw one for sale on Facebook not all too far from me so I hopped in the car and drove round to buy it.
Now then, I’m going to have to describe to you (the best I can) how it looked when I bought it, because even though I took before pictures, I took them that long ago now they were on an old phone and I forgot to transfer them onto my new one. Thick, I know.
It was purple. Not just any purple, sparkly purple. Sparkly purple with a purple velvet seat. Sparkly purple with a purple velvet seat and chrome. There’s nothing wrong with sparkly purple, a purple velvet seat and chrome, it just wasn’t for me. It looked like Prince’s childhood pimpmobile, not my ideal look. Needless to say, I tried to tone it down a bit. I wanted to make it nice and chilled, a classy and classic look.
You see, instead of waffling on like I have, I could have told you I took the bike down to it’s new home in the studio and posted a couple of pictures I took of it, but where’s the fun in that?
Anyway, here’s the pictures
I’m hoping to be able to squeeze this into some sort of urban shoot at some point so if anyone is up for that, you know where I am!
Now, back to my brew.
