Studio Hire Agreement
For the purposes of the contract the following shall be true:
“The Client” refers to those hiring the premises
“The Studio” refers to Strand Corner Studio and Mik Connor Photography jointly
“The Studio” refers to Strand Corner Studio and Mik Connor Photography jointly
Address reflected within this agreement shall be:
Strand Corner Studios, Unit 102, Oyston Mill, Strand Road, Preston, PR1 8UJ
Upon entering the hire contract with The Studio, The Client agrees to the following clauses:
1. The Client agrees that any use of The Studio and its equipment is done solely at The Client’s own risk and The Client is responsible for others attending The Studio in relation to the hire period.
2. To fully reimburse any costs incurred to fix and/or replace items, equipment, furniture, fittings and any other studio owned property including but not limited to decorative items which become damaged, lost or stolen during The Clients hire time.
3. The Studio will not supply The Client with codes to the access doors as this is a breach of the building's ongoing security systems.
4. The Studio cannot be held responsible for any found incompatibility between The Clients and The Studios equipment, a full list of The Studios equipment is available online or at The Clients request. If equipment is found to be incompatible after booking, refunds can be given if The Studio is notified at least 7 days prior to commencement of the hire. Any time after this, payment by The Client will be forfeited to The Studio.
5. As The Client I agree that in the event of a cancellation for any reasons other than the above, The Studio must be given at least 72 hours notice prior to the prebooked hire time. Any cancellation within the 72 hour notice period may not be granted a refund.
6. As The Client I agree that a hire booking no show will not be eligible for a refund and The Studio reserves the right to refuse any potential future bookings.
7. As The Client I agree that I must vacate the premises in a timely manner at the end of my prebooked time and that I am liable for extra charges if I overrun my prebooked time slot.
8. The Client agrees to leave The Studio in the same condition in which it was found prior to the commencement of the hire.
9. Any failure to comply with any of the above may result in blacklisting and any future attempts at booking will be rebuffed.
